@RoseParkLB Absolutely true. Only once in 3 yrs have I seen traffic enforcement/ticketing on my street. And that was only related to the nearby school. Yet I usually count several speeding cars *per minute*. Along residential streets. Even City vehicles, business vehicles & postal carriers.

By far the saddest thing in my entire life is living on this unspeakably beautiful planet where we are obliterating all the systems that make life possible—but for most people it’s business as usual. I greatly fear for my old age. If I even get one.
Every day, I ask myself: “What am I doing today, to NOT screw up the natural ecosystem cycles keeping us all alive? How can I avoid contributing to that?” Then I make every adjustment I can, & some I wasn’t certain I could. I do it anyway. It’s a good habit. Who’ll join me?
