And if you are the one struggling with something, don’t feel pressure to hide it from those who care about you. It’s okay to not be okay, even during the holiday season. Talking about your struggles and asking for help is valid and a sign of strength, not weakness.

Take a second to check in on your loved ones today, even those that may seem like they have everything together. You never know what they could be carrying or how much a simple text or call could mean to them. Reaching out and checking in can save lives. #mentalhealthmatters

Too often, I hear of suicide prevention posters with hotlines on them going up AFTER a tragedy has already taken place. We have to speak up and talk about suicide and mental illness to let people know that they are supported and to educate people who may not be familiar with...

Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay. It’s such an important day for everyone to work on starting the conversation and ending the stigma around suicide and mental illness. #SuicidePrevention starts by having a conversation. Not just with those who have already reached out.
