@bbbrazil__ How about suggesting baby steps? Pick a few places/times he WOULD mask, like when shopping or a doctor's waiting room or in a room with you. Get used to those settings, add a new one. It won't work perfectly to protect him, but it might protect others he shares public space with.

@ByJessicaGould I volunteered today. Demand outstripped supply. Heard another school had low turnout so sent people there. Required staff and parent volunteers to run. Burdensome to the school - no extra support to run the pop up plus normal school day.

@berthahidalgo NY State guidance, if it's helpful (locally, our first day of school is Sept 10): Schools will reopen if a region is in Phase 4 & daily infection rate remains below 5% (14-day avg). Schools close if regional infection rate is greater than 9% (7-day avg) after August 1.
