My heart goes out to the families and friends of Speaker Hortman and Sen Hoffman. My hope and prayers are for a speedy recovery to Sen Hoffman and his wife. I know the families of Speaker Hortman and her husband Mark are in great pain today, it is my hope their love & memories will live forever. I saw @melissahortman last night as she was leaving the Humphrey Mondale dinner. She was wearing a pant suit, smiling and strolling purposefully out of the room the way someone fully in their power does. This is how I will remember her. Rest in peace, Speaker!
