The brutal attack on Mr. Ashwini Shukla, RWA President, near Sector 28, Faridabad, cannot be treated as an ordinary incident. The assailants allegedly lay in wait for him and attacked him with rods and a hammer, while one of the assailants was also carrying a pistol, indicating a potentially pre-planned and targeted assault. Mr. Shukla has reportedly suffered fractures in both legs and a fractured wrist and is undergoing treatment in Accord Hospital, Faridabad. His family shared that police has registered case under regular BNS sections and haven't included attempt to murder sections. There are also serious questions regarding the circumstances preceding the attack, including the reported visit/inquiry by a police constable regarding his well-being shortly before the incident. This aspect must also be thoroughly and independently investigated. Mr. Shukla has been serving as the RWA President and working for the safety and welfare of residents. Such a brutal, armed attack on a person performing these responsibilities raises serious concerns about law and order and the safety of residents in Faridabad. I respectfully request the authorities to: • Ensure a fair, impartial and time-bound investigation. • Identify and arrest all assailants and persons involved urgently. • Investigate the pre-planning/conspiracy angle. • Investigate the use and possession of the pistol/firearm. • Examine the circumstances surrounding the police constable's reported interaction before the incident. • Invoke the strongest applicable provisions of law based on the evidence. • Ensure the immediate safety of Mr. Shukla and his family. This is not merely an attack on an individual—it is a serious question of law and order and the safety of residents of Faridabad. I request the Commissioner of Police and senior authorities to intervene urgently and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.

Most of India's major problems stem from the way votes are pursued. Just look at our roads. They are not built properly because government officials take money from public projects. Government officials do not keep that money to themselves. A major share goes to politicians; otherwise, those projects would never move forward. Why do politicians accumulate so much money? Because they need to build election war chests worth thousands of crores. They need that money to win votes by attracting people through religion, freebies, publicity campaigns, or large projects that keep voters emotionally invested. This cycle will never end unless voting rights are restricted for people who are easily influenced, such as the illiterate, habitual drunkards, and other vulnerable sections. I believe that if voting rights were limited to income-tax payers, or even only to followers of Sanatan India's condition would change completely within ten years. Such voters, in my view, would demand genuine development instead of temples, community feasts, or political advertising. Politicians would have no choice but to focus on governance rather than political drama. Corruption would decline, officials would have fewer opportunities to misuse public funds, and the country's infrastructure, including its roads, would improve dramatically.
