A man who spent thirty years reviewing sports cars has taught this country more about its own food than every minister, union and campaign of the last fifty years combined. Here is what five series of Clarkson's Farm put in front of the public, and not one line of it is opinion. - A thousand acres, worked flat out for a year, made a profit of £144. Under forty pence a day. - By year six the same farm was losing money, weather and prices turning a projected £37,000 into a five grand loss. - A crop can drown in the field after months of work and take everything with it, and nobody is coming to help. - The farmer is the only man in the food chain who sells at a price he does not set. The supermarket sets it. He takes it or he takes nothing. - The council can shut his restaurant, refuse his car park and stop him selling his own food off his own land. - The subsidy he was told to lean on can be closed overnight, the big estates first through the door, the small farms locked out. - One outbreak of bovine TB can lock a farm down for months, banned from buying or selling a single cow, through no fault of its own. - Rear pigs with real care and the butcher's maths can still make them a loss, so the animals go and the loss stays. - The margins are so thin that a rich man buys farmland not to earn from it but to shelter money that earns elsewhere. The shelter exists precisely because the farming does not. Now hold that against the story you were sold. Greedy farmers. Subsidised for doing nothing. Wrecking a countryside they are somehow also the custodians of. There is no profit. That was the reveal. A show that set out to be funny accidentally filmed the slow strangling of the people who feed us, and the country watched it happen and finally understood what its cheap food actually costs. Clarkson has now admitted the plainest part out loud: it is the television money keeping Diddly Squat alive, and most farms do not have a television show. Britain grows about sixty per cent of its own food and the average farmer is past sixty. That is why both numbers are heading the wrong way. It took a Lamborghini tractor and a man doing it for a laugh. Fifty years of earnest campaigning could not manage it.

🚨WOW!!! A mother suffered a medical emergency going 60mph, totally unresponsive, with her little boy strapped in the backseat... ...a total stranger saw what was happening and used HIS OWN CAR to pin her SUV against the barrier and bring it to a stop, SAVING THEIR LIVES!!! There was a Royal Navy captain in WW2 whose real name was Johnnie Walker. In 1939 the Navy had given up on him. Passed over for promotion, marked down by his own superiors, quietly being pushed toward early retirement. His career was a dead end. Then the Atlantic turned into a graveyard. German U-boats were sinking Allied ships faster than they could be built, sailors were drowning in the thousands, and Britain was months from being starved into surrender. Suddenly the Navy remembered the one man who had spent years obsessing over exactly how to kill a submarine. They finally gave him a ship. He became the deadliest U-boat hunter who has ever lived. He didn't wait for U-boats to attack. He invented tactics to go get them. His "creeping attack" had one ship silently guide another over the target so the submarine crew couldn't hear death coming until the depth charges were already sinking toward them. When he charged into battle he blasted "A-Hunting We Will Go" over the loudspeakers. He revived "General Chase," an attack signal so old it hadn't been flown since Nelson's day. And when depth charges weren't enough, he simply drove his ship straight over a surfaced U-boat and rammed it under. His group once sank 6 U-boats in a single patrol. He helped clear the English Channel so the entire D-Day invasion fleet could cross safely. He was decorated four times, one of the most honored officers in the Royal Navy. And he carried all of it while broken with grief. In 1943 his own son, a young submariner, was killed when his sub was lost in the Mediterranean. Walker got the news and went straight back to sea to keep hunting. In the end the war didn't kill him. The work did. Years of standing on that bridge in every storm, refusing to rest, burned him out completely. He collapsed from a stroke and died at 48. The doctors called it exhaustion. They carried his coffin through the streets of Liverpool while a thousand people stood in silence. Then a warship took him out past the harbor and buried him in the same Atlantic he had spent his life defending. Uncounted thousands of sailors made it home because of him. His statue still stands on the Liverpool waterfront today, facing the sea, watching for submarines that will never come again. His name was Johnnie Walker. Don't ever forget it.

On June 26 the SD Republican Party convention adopted Resolution #690 — urging the Attorney General and the Government Operations and Audit Committee to pursue COVID-19 accountability under state law, beyond the Fauci pardon. SD AG Marty Jackley already signed the Feb 2025 coalition letter of 17 state AGs pledging the same. The states are the path around the pardon. Jeremy Clarkson’s Farm show on Amazon is the most radicalizing piece of mainstream media I’ve ever seen Just one example (bear with me): Badgers became a protected species in Britain 40+ years ago. The population has exploded and now frequently transmits tuberculosis to cows But farmers can’t cull the badger population to protect their cattle because the government still considers them to be endangered Instead of addressing the root cause, the UK has the most batshit testing regime for cattle There’s no TB vaccine. So the cattle have to get tested. The vets administering the test have to measure welts on the cows neck. Whether a cow lives or dies comes down to a vet trying to discern 1mm on a caliper (reactive vs non reactive). If a cow tests positive, the farm (already running on super thin margins) is quarantined and starts hemorrhaging money. Jeremy Clarkson’s cow (pregnant with twins) has an inconclusive test so it’s separated from the herd. It receives a second inconclusive test so they have to kill it (before it can give birth to the twins). Now here’s the kicker: the autopsy reveals no sign of TB. It was a healthy cow needlessly killed So - silver lining the farm should be removed from quarantine, right? The world's clean energy transition represents a colossal expansion of the world's mining industry. To catch a diffuse energy source like sunlight or wind needs an unprecedented volume of physical machinery. A single solar farm requires roughly 30 times more total metal infrastructure than a conventional gas plant. We aren't moving away from mining; we're swapping enormous oceanic drilling rigs for vast open-cut metal mines. The demand for heavy mining and rare earths is just as compelling as the downstream e-waste crisis, but the numbers are even more staggering. While solar cells rely heavily on high-purity silicon, silver, and copper, the broader 'green infrastructure' ecosystem demands far more. The EV motors, wind turbines and massive national grids required to tie intermittent solar together are entirely dependent on an unprecedented surge in heavy mining and rare earth extraction. This physical mining demand has simply exploded with the shift from conventional fossil fuel energy generation to wind and solar. Because wind and sunshine are so diluted and diffused, harvesting them requires a massive physical footprint, necessitating endless extra acres of complex machinery. This translates into heavily vandalised landscapes and grotesque coastal settings. According to the IEA, replacing them world's fossil-fuel system with renewables increases the total volume of materials requiring extraction and handling by a factor of 10. Solar alone is exceptionally copper-intensive, using roughly 850 kg per megawatt for intricate grid connections, inverters and cabling. Renewable energy is projected to drive 45% of total global copper demand by 2030. Yet, developing a new major copper mine takes an average of 16 years from initial discovery to first production. The world faces a massive demand spike for a metal where the supply chain is notoriously slow, costly, and inflexible. Solar panels don't use much in the way of rare earths, but wind turbines and the electric vehicle motors that back up the low-carbon shift are hungry for permanent magnets made from neodymium, praseodymium and dysprosium. Processing these elements involves intensive chemical leaching that produces vast amounts of toxic and radioactive wastewater. Compounding the problem, China controls roughly 60–70% of the extraction and up to 90% of the refining for these specific elements. This has created a massive geopolitical bottleneck. It is one of the largest man-made excavations on Earth and the deepest open-pit mine in the world, stretching 4 kilometres wide and more than a kilometre deep.
