I was my family's IT person for as long as I remember. jammed printer, dead wifi, lost email, always my problem. nobody taught me any of it. we got handed the broken tech and figured it out. THIS is why AI doesn't scare me... it even feels familiar. one more thing to figure out.

I asked gemini to sub a flour I didn't have. it told me what flour to use. I was too AI fatigued to read past the first line, and missed critical adjustments it also needed. we scan instead of read (HCI 101). I'm now too tired to even scan. is this why AI uses so many emojis?
