I feel a common denominator between the best players / managers is that they’re the quickest to react to the ever-changing environment around them. It’s like when you see the ppl who are best @ video games, their reaction time separates them from others

In similar sense it made me think of Olise’s end to the WC and how he can learn from Messi. He wants to be active inside the pitch but needs to be able to respond quickly when the environment around him is in a state where he’d have been better to find wider start positions
