I would say stick with opus 5, then use /advise to call on fable then for something complicated or wanted a second look with the tie breaker decided with the help of codex adversarial review. Deeper issue and pivotal decision I have a multi council review set up that calls on Grok 4.5, Gemini 3.6 flash, GLM 5.2, Kimi K3, gpt 5.6 sol with Fable providing synthesis on each models findings!

@ClaudeDevs @ClaudeDevs can you just read the room and look at how bad fable 5 is just refusing to work and just flags messages. It is not a usable model and all work is going to gpt 5.6, grok 4.5, glm 5.2, kimi k3. Fable purely does not work and flags a simple “hi”
