Above all, doesn't mathematics rely on assumptions from previous proofs? Isn't there a danger that we'll build a wall of false assumptions that no one will ever be able to understand?
Bloomberg published an interesting piece. AI could flood mathematics with proofs faster than humans can understand their consequences. That creates a problem for universities because academic status is built around countable outputs such as papers, citations, and theorems
