@DTP_Transit @onthehead once published Adjacent Move scripts, and use them daily (except for the images with opacity masks). I had to bound these to hotkeys with AHK, so making a panel is a good idea!

Ai’s Smooth looks a lot like the Laplacian method. This 'melting' I don’t like is something that doesn’t happen with Taubin! I wonder if it can be used for a script, or a plugin, or a native method option.

@DTP_Transit English UI ❤︎ Love it. Reminds me of a script that produces labels for objects made by @Creold. Are you planning to make one that does this for horizontal gaps as well (and maybe make them one panel)? Another question — can this one set the gap to the baseline as a method?

@tanukizamurai Great! In #illustrator we have sppy.stars.ne.jp/mojidisassembl… by @peprintenpa for the same task, works just as good (and sprinkles a bit of random color to better distinguish the resulting shapes.

@Sugar_T2O @hamko1114 Please try it with not a rectangle (that is a live shape), but a simple path drawn with a pencil, for example. It looks like they compensate it for live ellipses and rectangles, but not paths in general.

@hamko1114 Try to draw a path (not a live shape), enable the option, apply a thick stroke, and resize it using the bounding box. Compare the behavior with an ellipse.

@hamko1114 All good in 2024/25? No way. I launched CC2017, where Use Preview Bounds work, but the bounding box doesn’t hug the outer bound when the option is enabled, and the behavior is the same (also with no live preview). Should recheck! Meanwhile, please report.

@Sugar_T2O I noticed this, but I had to enable the bounding box back, because I actually very rarely use it... if I need to scale or rotate I use Scale and Rotate and Free Transform. The only exclusion is area type. If you notice more bugs — please tweet and report about them at UV 🙇
