“میں سہیل آفریدی کو خیبرپختونخوا کا وزیراعلیٰ بننے پر دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ سہیل آفریدی میرے آئی ایس ایف کے دیرینہ اور وفادار ساتھیوں میں سے ہیں۔ مجھے پوری امید ہے کہ وہ توقعات اور تحریک انصاف کے نظرئیے کے عین مطابق، بحیثیت چیف منسٹر خیبرپختونخوا میں انقلابی کام کریں گے۔ مجھے خوشی ہے کہ اس موقع پر علی امین گنڈا پور نے نہایت باوقار طریقے سے حکومت کی منتقلی یقینی بنائی میں گزشتہ دو سال میں ہونے والے قتلِ عام کے چار بڑے واقعات جن میں 9 مئی، 26 نومبر، آزاد کشمیر اور مریدکے قتلِ عام شامل ہیں، پر جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ دہراتا ہوں۔ ان تمام واقعات میں بڑی تعداد میں نہتے شہریوں کو شہید کیا گیا۔ 9 مئی فالس فلیگ کے حوالے سے میرا شروع سے یہی موقف ہے کہ واقعے کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج پیش کی جائے اور آزادانہ و شفاف تحقیقات کے لیے جوڈیشل کمیشن قائم کیا جائے۔ جس پر افسوس ہے کہ کوئی عملدرآمد نہیں ہوا بلکہ الٹا متاثرہ فریق کیخلاف ہی جھوٹے مقدمات بنا کر بغیر شفاف تحقیقات اور ثبوت کے ملٹری کورٹس اور کینگرو کورٹس سے 10، 10 سال قید کی سزائیں سنائی گئیں۔ حالانکہ اس دن نہتے شہریوں اور سپورٹرز کو گولیوں کا نشانہ بنایا گیا- قتلِ عام کی یہی واردات 26 نومبر کو دہرائی گئی جب نہتے پرامن مظاہرین پر سیدھی گولیاں برسائی گئیں۔ اگر 9 مئی کے حقائق سامنے آجاتے تو 26 نومبر اور اس جیسے واقعات نا ہوتے۔ پھر آزاد کشمیر اور اب مریدکے میں مظاہرین کو ریاستی بربریت کا نشانہ بنایا گیا۔ ان واقعات کی آزادانہ تحقیقات کیلئے جوڈیشل کمیشن کا قیام ناگزیر ہے تاکہ مظلوموں کو انصاف مل سکے اور قتلِ عام کے ذمہ داران کو قرار واقعی سزا دی جائے۔ اگر اب کی بار نہتے شہریوں کے قتلِ عام پر جوڈیشل کمیشن بنا کر شفاف تحقیقات نہ کی گئیں تو خدانخواستہ اگلا واقعہ اس سے بھی بڑا ہوگا کیونکہ ظلم و بربریت میں مسلسل اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ نماز جمعہ کے بعد خیبرپختونخوا میں ہمارے تمام کارکنان اور عوام مریدکے قتلِ عام کیخلاف نکلیں اور چاروں واقعات کے جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ کریں۔ آج ملک میں سب کچھ عاصم لاء کے تحت ہو رہا ہے- ساری عدالتیں فوجی عدالتوں میں بدل چکی ہیں، جیسے فوجی عدالتوں کو چلایا جاتا ہے ویسے ہی عام عدالتوں کو بھی چلایا جا رہا ہے۔ 26ویں غیر آئینی ترمیم کے بعد عدالتوں سے انصاف کی توقع تقریباً ختم ہو چکی ہے۔ ملک میں بڑھتی لاقانونیت اور ناانصافی اسی ترمیم کا نتیجہ ہے- جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ، جسٹس امین الدین، جج عامر فاروق، اور جج ڈوگر سب کے پاس ہمارے کیسز اور پٹیشن گئیں مگر کہیں سے انصاف نہیں ملا۔ عاصم منیر، قاضی فائز عیسٰی اور سکندر سلطان راجہ نے ہمارا مینڈیٹ چوری کر کے فارم 47 کی نااہل اور ناجائز حکومت پاکستان پر مسلط کی جن کے پاس پاکستان کو درپیش مسائل سے نکالنے کا نہ ہی کوئی وژن ہے، نہ اہلیت ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی اختیار۔ ان کی دہشتگردی کے مسئلے، امن کے قیام اور دیگر ممالک کے ساتھ تعلقات کے حوالے سے بھی اپنی کوئی سوچ اور پالیسی نہیں ہے- تاریخ سے ثابت ہے کہ ملٹری ڈکٹیٹرز کا صرف بندوق کے زور پر ہر چیز کا حل نکالنے کا فارمولہ کبھی دیرپا اور کامیاب ثابت نہیں ہوا۔ افغانستان کے ساتھ مسئلے کا حل فوجی نہیں سیاسی ہے۔ لہذا یہ سیاستدانوں کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ معاملہ فہمی سے ملک میں دیرپا امن کا قیام یقینی بنائیں۔ فارم 47 کی جعلی حکومت کا نہ ہی استحقاق ہے اور نہ اہلیت کہ وہ قیامِ امن میں مؤثر کردار ادا کرسکے۔ ہمارے دور میں دہشتگردی کم ترین سطح پر آ گئی تھی۔ مجھے پیرول پر رہا کیا جائے تو میں افغانستان سے تنازعات کے حل اور قیامِ امن کیلئے اپنا کردار ادا کرسکتا ہوں” سابق وزیراعظم عمران خان کا اڈیالہ جیل سے خصوصی پیغام (16 اکتوبر 2025)

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on the successful and dignified completion of the transition process within the provincial government. The way our members stood firmly by the party’s ideology and voted, without hesitation or reservation, for my nominee for Chief Minister is truly commendable. I also pay tribute to Ali Amin Gandapur, who, without any reluctance, tendered his resignation, not just once but three times. This smooth transition is clear evidence that the ideology of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continues to be strong in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. My message specifically for Sohail Afridi is that he is my opening batsman, and he should play expensively and with full confidence. PTI is the largest political party in the country. Many members of my own family have served in the armed forces. During the 1965 war, people from seven out of eight houses in our Zaman Park community were serving in the Army, defending the nation. It pains me deeply when soldiers lose their lives in the war against terrorism. Yet instability persists, and lives continue to be lost on both sides. History bears witness that military operations alone cannot eradicate terrorism. Our principled stance is that military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are unacceptable, as lives of innocent civilians are lost under the label of ‘collateral damage’ and people are displaced from their homes. Large-scale operations have been carried out for decades in an attempt to eliminate terrorism, but the menace persists. Precious lives are lost every year, whether the martyrs are soldiers, police officers, or innocent civilians. I have always maintained that to achieve the complete elimination of terrorism, decisions cannot be made behind closed doors. What is needed is a comprehensive strategy based on political wisdom and inclusivity. Any policy formulated without the consultation and participation of political representatives and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is unacceptable. All key stakeholders, including local tribal leaders, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal governments, and the Afghan government must be consulted in determining counterterrorism policies. Without meaningful dialogue with Afghanistan, the issue of terrorism cannot be resolved. I once again instruct the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to engage all parties involved and formulate an effective and comprehensive strategy against terrorism. One that ensures sustainable peace in the province and ultimately leads to economic recovery. In every democratic society, citizens have the fundamental right to peaceful protest. To use violence against unarmed people and open fire on them is completely unacceptable. The brutality inflicted upon Tehreek-e-Labbaik workers is the same injustice that PTI has been enduring for the past three years. A similar massacre occurred on November 26th (2024) at D-Chowk when our unarmed supporters were fired upon by snipers. “آج اورکزئی کے علاقے میں ہونے والے دہشتگردی کے واقعے میں قیمتی جانوں کے ضیاع پر نہایت افسردہ ہوں۔ ملٹری آپریشنز میں ہر طرف صرف پاکستانی ہی شہید ہو رہے ہیں، چاہے وہ عام شہری ہوں، پولیس والے ہوں یا فوجی۔ آج کی شہادتوں میں ایک کرنل اور میجر بھی شامل ہیں جو انتہائی افسوس کی بات ہے۔ تمام شہداء کے درجات کی بلندی اور زخمیوں کی جلد صحتیابی کیلئے دعاگو ہوں۔ ملک پر مسلط مافیا کی ناقص پالیسیوں کی وجہ سے اس وقت پاکستان خصوصاً خیبرپختونخوا میں دہشتگردی کی بدترین صورتحال پیدا ہو گئی ہے۔ پاکستان میں اس سال دہشتگردی کے ریکارڈ واقعات ہوئے ہیں جن میں جس بڑی تعداد میں قیمتی جانوں کا نقصان ہوا اس کی مثال ملنا مشکل ہے، جبکہ سال کے اختتام میں ابھی دو مہینے باقی ہیں۔ میں پہلے بھی بارہا کہہ چکا ہوں کہ خیبرپختونخوا سمیت ملک میں دہشتگردی کے مکمل خاتمے کیلئے چار اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے بات چیت ناگزیر ہے جن میں خیبرپختونخوا حکومت، قبائلی علاقوں کی عوام، افغان حکومت اور افغان عوام شامل ہیں۔ موجودہ رجیم نے جنگ و جدل کی جو پالیسی اپنائی ہوئی ہے، وہ حالات کے مزید بگاڑ کی وجہ بن رہی ہے۔ خیبرپختونخوا حکومت کو بارہا ہدایات دیں کہ خیبر پختونخوا میں اپنے ہی شہریوں کے خلاف شروع کیے گئے غیرضروری ملٹری آپریشنز کے خلاف کھڑی ہو، ہمارے دور میں ان تمام علاقوں میں امن قائم ہو چکا تھا، لیکن انتہائی دکھ ہے کہ خیبرپختونخوا حکومت میرے امن کے ویژن پر عملدرآمد میں کامیاب نہیں ہوسکی اور اپنے آپ کو وفاقی حکومت اور سیکیورٹی ایجینسیوں کی جنگی پالیسیوں سے ایسے دور نہیں رکھ سکی جس طرح ضرورت تھی۔ ایسے میں خیبرپختونخوا حکومت میں تبدیلی کے علاوہ کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے۔ میں خیبرپختونخوا کی وزارت اعلیٰ کی ذمہ داریاں سہیل آفریدی کے سپرد کرنے کا اعلان کرتا ہوں۔ ڈرون حملوں، جیٹ طیاروں اور مارٹر گولوں کے ذریعے دہشتگردی کے خلاف جنگ کی پالیسی انتہائی بیوقوفانہ حکمت عملی ہے، جس کے باعث ملک دہشتگردی کے منحوس چکر سے کبھی نکل نہیں پایا۔ آج دہشتگردی کے واقعے میں ہونے والی شہادتوں کے بعد ہماری سیکیورٹی فورسز جواباً کاروائی کریں گی جس کے نتیجے میں دوسری جانب سے پھر ردعمل آئے گا اور یہ سلسلہ اسی طرح چلتا رہے گا۔ ہمارے ساڑھے تین سالہ دورِ حکومت میں دہشتگردی ملکی تاریخ کی کم ترین سطح پر تھی۔ باوجود اس کے کہ اس وقت افغانستان میں بھارت نواز اور پاکستان مخالف اشرف غنی کی حکومت تھی۔ ایسے میں، میں نے ذاتی حیثیت میں افغانستان کا دورہ کیا اور اشرف غنی کو بھی دوطرفہ تعلقات میں بہتری کیلئے پاکستان دورے کی دعوت دی۔ تعلقات بحالی کی عملی کوششوں اور موثر حکمت عملی کے باعث ملک میں بدامنی کے ایسے واقعات نہیں ہوئے جیسے آج ہورہے ہیں۔ دوسری جانب اقتدار پر قابض موجودہ حکمرانوں نے افغانستان میں نئی بننے والی حکومت سے تعلقات کی بہتری کیلئے کوئی اقدام نہیں اٹھایا۔ بلکہ چالیس سال کی مہمان نوازی کے بعد جس طریقے سے افغان پناہ گزینوں کو بے عزت کر کے ملک بدر کیا گیا وہ انتہائی تکلیف دہ ہے۔ بلاول بھٹو ایک سال سے زائد وزارتِ خارجہ کے منصب پر براجمان رہا اور تمام دنیا گھومنے کے باوجود، تاریخ کے اس انتہائی اہم موڑ پر ایک مرتبہ بھی کابل نہیں گیا اور نہ ہی افغان حکومت سے تعلقات کی بہتری کیلئے رابطہ کیا۔ دیرپا قیامِ امن کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ اس معاملے کو بڑے تناظر میں دیکھا جائے، تمام فریقین مل بیٹھ کر افہام و تفہیم سے معاملات حل کریں۔ میں پُرامید ہوں کہ خیبرپختونخوا حکومت میں تبدیلی سے نئی شروعات ہوں گی۔ عوامی نمائندوں، جرگوں اور قبائل سے معاونت حاصل کی جائے گی، دہشتگردی کے مسئلے کو جڑ سے اکھاڑنے کیلئے تمام فریقین بات چیت کے ذریعے معاملہ فہمی سے دیرپا حل دریافت کریں گے۔ مجھے پوری توقع ہے کہ میری ہدایات کے عین مطابق نئے وزیر اعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا سہیل آفریدی میرے ویژن، قبائلی روایات اور عوامی امنگوں کی روشنی میں وفاقی حکومت کو خیبر پختونخوا میں امن کے بہترین فارمولے پر عمل کروانے اور دیر پا امن کے قیام میں بہترین کردار ادا کرنے میں کامیاب ہوں گے۔” چیئرمین تحریک انصاف عمران خان کا اڈیالہ جیل سے پیغام (٨ اکتوبر ۲۰۲۵)

“میں عاصم منیر کو پیغام دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ ہم "لا الہ الا اللہ محمد رسول اللہ" کے ماننے والے ہیں۔ ہم نے عہد کیا ہے کہ ہم جب تک زندہ ہیں یزیدیت اور فرعونیت کے سامنے سر نہیں جھکائیں گے کیونکہ ہم اللہ کے سوا کسی بھی انسان کے آگے جھکنے کو شرک مانتے ہیں۔ مجھ پر اور بشرٰی بی بی پر جیل میں جو ذہنی تشدد ہو رہا ہے وہ عاصم منیر کروا رہا ہے اور اسکی وجہ صرف یہ ہے کہ ہم جھک جائیں یا ٹوٹ جائیں- جنرل یحیٰی خان کو فوج نے ملک چلانے کے لیے منتخب نہیں کیا تھا بلکہ اس نے فوج کا کندھا استعمال کر کے ڈکٹیٹر شپ کی اور ملک میں ظلم و جبر کا بازار گرم کیا۔ اپنے دس سالہ اقتدار کی لالچ میں اس نے ملک دو لخت کر دیا۔ آج عاصم منیر بھی اسی طرز پر فوج کا کندھا استعمال کر کے ملک میں لاقانونیت اور فسطائیت کا ماحول بنائے ہوئے ہے۔ عاصم منیر نے اپنے دس سالہ ناجائز اقتدار کے لیے کیا کچھ نہیں کیا۔ سب سے پہلے جمہوریت کا گلا دبوچا، نو مئی کا فالس فلیگ کر کے ملک کی سب سے بڑی سیاسی جماعت کو کچلا گیا، پھر 8 فروری کو انتخابات میں عوام نے جب تحریک انصاف کو بڑی تعداد میں ووٹ ڈالے اور تحریک انصاف نے کلین سویپ کیا تو اس مینڈیٹ کو بے شرمی سے چرا لیا گیا۔ عوام کا مینڈیٹ چرا کر سزا یافتہ لوگوں کو اقتدار دے دیا گیا۔ اس کے بعد عدلیہ کو مفلوج کیا گیا اور چھبیسویں ترمیم کے ذریعے ججز کے ہاتھ پاؤں باندھ دئیے گئے۔ عدلیہ کو سرکاری ادارے میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا ہے۔ تیسرے نمبر پر میڈیا کی آزادی پر قدغن لگا دی گئی ہے، آزاد میڈیا کا تصور پاکستان سے بالکل ختم ہو چکا ہے۔ نہایت مشکل سے پاکستان میں جیسی تیسی جمہوریت کے تسلسل سے یہ دو چیزیں، کسی حد تک خود مختار عدلیہ اور آزاد میڈیا تھا، مگر عاصم منیر کی وجہ سے ان دونوں کا خاتمہ ہو چکا ہے۔ ملک میں اس وقت جمہوریت معطل ہے، انسانی حقوق کی پامالی عروج پر ہے، عدلیہ غلام اور میڈیا خوفزدہ ہے۔ عاصم منیر جب سے چیف بنا ہے افغانستان کے ساتھ حالات خراب کرنے کی کوشش میں ہے۔ چیف بنتے ہی پہلے افغانستان کو دھمکیاں لگائیں، پھر تین نسلوں سے مقیم افغانیوں کو ملک سے دھکے دے کر باہر نکالا پھر وہاں ڈرون حملے کیے اور پوری کوشش کی کہ ان کو اکسا کر پاکستان سے جنگ کروائی جائے اور پاکستان میں دہشتگردی کا ماحول بنایا جا سکے تاکہ مغرب میں موجودہ افغان حکومت کی مخالف لابیز کو "مجاہد" بن کر دکھا سکے کہ میں ہی ہوں جو دہشتگردی کے خلاف جنگ لڑ سکتا ہوں۔ جبر کے اسی نظام کے باعث پاکستان میں اس وقت معیشت بھی تاریخی سست روی کا شکار ہے۔ بیرونی سرمایہ کاری بالکل صفر ہے۔ پاکستان کی تاریخ میں کبھی اتنی کم سرمایہ کاری نہیں آئی جتنی اس دور میں ہوئی۔ تین سال میں ملک پر قرضہ دگنا ہو چکا ہے۔ ہر پاکستانی اس وقت قرضے کی دلدل میں دھنسا ہوا ہے۔ جب تک ملک میں عوامی حکومت قائم نہیں ہو گی معاشی مسائل کا حل ممکن نہیں ہے۔ ملک میں اخلاقیات کا جو جنازہ اٹھا ہوا ہے اس کی بھی مثال تاریخ میں نہیں ملتی۔ جو کام جنگوں میں بھی نہیں ہوتے وہ یہاں عوام کے ساتھ کیے گئے ہیں۔ عورتوں کو سڑکوں پر گھسیٹا گیا ہے، بچوں کو اٹھا کر ہراساں کیا گیا، بزرگوں کا تقدس پامال کیا گیا ہے۔ کبھی کسی سیاستدان کے گھر کی غیر سیاسی خواتین کے ساتھ ایسا نہیں کیا گیا جو میری اہلیہ اور دیگر گھر والوں کے ساتھ کیا گیا ہے۔ جب ملک کا اقتدار ان چور لٹیروں کے ہاتھوں میں دے دیا جائے گا جن کی کرپشن کی داستانوں سے بچہ بچہ واقف ہے تو اخلاقیات ایسے ہی تباہ ہوں گی” سابق وزیراعظم عمران خان کی اڈیالہ جیل میں اہل خانہ سے گفتگو (17 ستمبر، 2025) 1/2

“When the tragic incident of the Fall of Dhaka occurred in 1971, the country was under martial law, imposed by the dictator Yahya Khan, who had made himself the ultimate authority. The Hamoodur Rahman Commission was established following the tragedy of East Pakistan. It revealed that Yahya Khan, in pursuit of his personal interests and to unlawfully extend his rule by another ten years, made decisions that led to Pakistan being split into two. The Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report was prepared after extensive investigations involving representatives of the superior judiciary, the Army, Navy, and Air Force. During this process, statements of hundreds of people were recorded and four years were spent probing the causes of this national tragedy. According to the Commission, one man's ego and lust for power led to a dark era of tyranny and oppression that permanently broke the country apart. His gravest mistake was the attempt to suppress Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Awami League, the most popular party of the time, which had won 160 out of 162 seats. Instead of respecting his party's mandate, it was pushed into a corner. Mujibur Rahman was imprisoned, and their own seats in West Pakistan were fraudulently increased. On March 24th, 1971, negotiations with Mujibur Rahman began, but on that very night, a military operation was launched against the Bengalis. According to official figures, 50,000 lives were lost, but the real death toll was far greater. The same conditions as those of 1971 have been recreated in Pakistan today. Asim Munir orchestrated the false-flag operation of May 9th (2023) to crush the country’s most popular political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Over ten thousand PTI members and supporters were arrested within two nights. How was it possible that 10,000 people could be detained in just two nights without any investigation? Thereafter, a systematic campaign was launched to annihilate the party. All political activities of the largest political force in the country were banned. Anyone carrying a PTI flag was abducted, our candidates and their families were kidnapped, and even our electoral symbol was taken away. Yet on February 8th (2024), the people came out in defiance and shattered this entire false narrative. February 8th was a day of revolution when the people voted against an oppressive system and gave PTI a two-thirds majority. When the Commissioner of Rawalpindi, in response to the call of his conscience, exposed electoral rigging and confessed to manipulation of votes by the tens of thousands, the very forces guilty of rigging concocted the absurd narrative that he had lost his mental balance—and then made him forcibly disappear. His whereabouts remain unknown to this day, but we will not allow his memory to be erased. The real culprits of May 9th are those who stole the CCTV footage. Now, under the guise of that incident, our remaining seats in parliament are being taken away by handing down ten-year sentences of ten after sham trials. The height of shamelessness is that Ejaz Chaudhry’s seat was stolen and handed over to Rana Sanaullah, who had lost his own election. All these punishments are utterly unlawful. Through deceit, seats are being snatched from us one by one. That is why we chose to boycott the by-elections, because those seats too will ultimately be stolen. To participate in such elections would be to legitimize these false convictions. “The military operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must be stopped immediately. ANP was made unpopular through similar actions in the past. Launching operations against our own people merely to please foreign powers does not improve the situation; it only makes it worse. In these operations, on one side our security forces are killed, and on the other, our citizens lose their lives. Killing one’s own always leads to an increase in terrorism. Drone strikes taking place in Afghanistan and Pakistan must also be halted immediately. I instruct all members of provincial and national assemblies and the senate who are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to come together and resist these operations and drone strikes against our own people, and to work for peace so that issues can be resolved through dialogue. At a time when people are already suffering from floods and unbearable inflation, they are now being subjected to military operations as well. This is extremely painful. History bears witness that apart from negotiations, there has never been any lasting solution to peace. Afghanistan is our brotherly Muslim country. “My sisters and my wife have nothing to do with politics. Aleema Khan only comes forward to convey my message. The campaign being waged against her is shameful and stands as undeniable proof of the cowardice and fear of the regime imposed on the country. Bushra Begum has no role in politics whatsoever. Never once has she asked me to nominate a minister, a ticket-holder, or a senator. She does not send political messages. She is in solitary confinement and has no contact with any political figure outside. She is only having to endure the ordeal of imprisonment because she is my wife. The oppressive regime believed it could use Bushra Begum as my weakness, but because of her unwavering faith she has, instead, become my strength. My father, Imran Khan, is in prison because he stood up for democracy. He is held in solitary confinement, denied access to his doctors, and restricted from meeting his lawyers and family. At the same time, members of his family and thousands of his supporters have been abducted or dragged before military courts. This is not justice - it is political revenge. Pakistan’s democracy is at stake, and I call on all who believe in human rights and democracy to stand with us so that the people’s voice is heard and the rule of law is restored.
