@LawrenceMoebius 49 CFR § 395.3) On-Duty, Not Driving Charging: You can pull up to a charger, remain on-duty to plug it in and monitor it, and that 30-minute block will legally satisfy your mandatory rest break. They can't make up there minds.

@LawrenceMoebius @EvasTeslaSPlaid As to your 30 min. break. Charging would be tending to your truck and is on-duty and can't be used as a break. Also if you're a professional while charging you should be doing an in-route inspection of your truck also on-duty time.

Now imagine how many charging ports they would need. Now think of refrigerated units and their power demands and their effect on mileage And infrastructure?
