Great question, and sorry for the late response. I’m still getting into a lot of this material, but Daniel Everett makes similar claims in his work on the Pirahã. One such example is the relationship between the absence of exact number terms in the language and difficulty maintaining exact quantities abstractly. researchgate.net/publication/53…�

Everyone can make unbounded errors; hopefully, they correct them.
Sometimes you realize that your heroes were not the people you thought they were, while those you never expected quietly prove themselves to be the real heroes. And sometimes what shatters is not the hero, but the part of you that believed in them. That hurts more.
A wave function describes the many alternative paths that interfere to produce an observed state. Removing these alternative paths from the theory requires one to postulate a mechanism that picks out a single reality. Many-worlds is quantum theory without any such additional postulates. See the quote from Schrödinger below.

This is wrong — socialism is NOT viable in (economic) theory, and it’s been known to be the case for 150 years. You are making it sound as if everybody thinks it should work, but it just inexplicably keeps failing. No, we know precisely, in THEORY, why it fails: it has an incentive problem (WHY should people do hard/dirty work?), it has an economic calculation/knowledge aggregation problem (WHAT should people do even if you manage to force them to?), it’s based on the debunked (labor) theory of value, etc.
Socialism is viable in theory. Capitalism is viable in reality.
Don't Look Up was pessimistic and dystopian garbage; likewise, so are AI doomsday prophecies.
Tragically, when I first saw the movie “Don’t Look Up” in 2021, it struck a chord with me. I felt viscerally that humans would find ourselves in a comparable place one day - and soon. If you haven’t seen the movie, I’d recommend it. A quick recap: Humans were explicitly warned
It is crazy how a technology that has the potential to cure cancer, alzheimer's, and who knows what else is so universally hated outside of rich tech. How did Sama and Dario so thoroughly fumble this? How did they not see telling everybody they're going to lose their jobs every few months and now we might (👉👈) accidentally kill everyone isn't a winning strategy?

@JulianHartley5 Ah, I see what you are getting at. I was saying the conclusion "you'd have to map out all possible games" is flawed, not the number of games versus atoms.
Well, that can't be correct.
There are more possible chess games, by about 40 orders of magnitude, than atoms in the observable universe. To solve chess, you'd have to map them all. Good luck.
