@berkun It’s an important distinction but is often used to dismiss what people say. What they say reveals their desires and aspirations. What they do reveals their current constraints/experience. A good researcher explores the intersection of both.

In my interpretation of the book I try more explicit the idea of the “Sensing Self”, which is alluded to. I think it’s a useful counterpoint to understand why our physical identities are equally compromised as our online selves, but for different reasons.
