@KingSteve1987 @MagicHandz @TomAandTom1 It kinda ruin the brand, or at least its reputation. You notice the downward slope? BvS > MoS, JL<BvS, and that’s a trilogy (the main part of the DCEu) at least Supergirl isn’t Superman lol Superman couldn’t even looking like Superman in his trunks without them saying Diaperman.

@KingSteve1987 @MagicHandz @TomAandTom1 MoS didn’t break 700M, BvS had a 69% drop 2nd (had a huge open since it’s literally Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman but with bad word of mouth, the rest is history), JL didn’t make 700M, ZSJL made $0. Trust me we want Snyder fans to stop watching, so they’ll shut up for once.

@KingSteve1987 @MagicHandz @TomAandTom1 “Dc fandom would come together”, they didn’t even stay for BvS’s second weekend (hence the historic 69% drop). The DCU could be dead tomorrow and people still wouldn’t show up for anything from the old universe.

I even added a nice “ect” so you could fill in your own criticism like I know some people thought it was too hopeful/optimistic and may say it cringe, and didn’t like Krypto. Still it wasn’t as divisive as MoS.

@Lightwalkerrx @MalikNtimb58 @TacticalNewbie1 @ReelRejects @CoyJandreau @TheGregAlba Most people do agree with the criticism of Superman, the cinematography, color palette, the Jor-El story beat, not enough mild manner Clark Kent, ect. Yet they’re not debating it, they just have a bunch of people getting mad at them for liking it the film despite its flaws.

I know the film has genuine criticisms (like every film), but the film is not as divisive as MoS. People still debate (a decade in) Superman killing Zod, letting his dad die and Clark’s destrution control.

I literally said supergirl is divisive like earlier I said supergirl’s flopping and you thought I didn’t, I just stand by my statement the DCU gets a lot of unnecessary hate before they even do anything.

But it’s a lie to say the film is even divisive, it’s well-received, despite personal opinions and people agreeing on the same issues (evil Jor-Els), same as I love Supergirl it’s still divisive just look at the reviews (same as MoS).

DCEU got destroyed so bad by critics and audiences, lead to 2nd drops then to flops, it died.

You can care about the box office so much, but the last DC films were a laughing stock and got panned from critics and audiences, leading to BvS 2nd week drop. S25 got good critics and audiences scores.

The last movie with Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman from 2016 couldn’t even make a billion while marvel was. How is Superman this big seller without ever selling like that? He’s an A-List comic hero.

Don’t be mad they made better decisions with this movie.

MoS also lost to The Batman. People been hating on supergirl since before it was announced, it was going to flop no matter quality

What you expect? It to hit the moon? They prolly didn’t show up, because they’re not a cult like you seem to think
