Imagine South Africa did *not* share their findings, how many *more* people across the world would be hospitalised and worse? Would the international community rather countries shared their findings, or remain quiet out of fear? Working together is the best way to solutions.

I want to be clear about the nu variant. We know what we know BECAUSE South Africa has invested in advanced genomic sequencing. We owe them a debt of gratitude - not punishment. Transparency is critical in a global pandemic. We need to support these efforts collaboratively.
