I became a fulltime trader in 2020... Here are my top tips to become profitable fast 👇 🧵

I know alot of people are struggling right now I didn't become profitable until year three Not saying you will..some do earlier some later 2 years is nothing I was lost 2 years in the game Here is what helped me break through👇 1. You need to simplify your strat or find a simple strat because many don't have an edge to begin with. Whatever you trade make sure it's simple. Because you can't execute a complicated system consistently. Analysis paralysis creeps in. All that over analysis anyway is just you trying to avoid being wrong to the core 2. Take full accountability. It's not the gurus fault. Not brokers. Not prop firms. It's your fault. Only then will you be able to look your mistakes dead in the face and overcome them. When you put it on someone else even if they had a part in the downfall....you give yourself and out to not grow. It's all on you. Nobody is coming to save you and it's all your fault 3. Meditate. Most will ignore this one and im not saying you gotta go full monk mode. Just 5-10 mins before you trade for the day. Think of it like you are prepping your mind for battle. Meditation teaches mindfulness. That helps when it comes to identifying your emotions realtime. When fear and greed is present you can pinpoint it realtime not get swept away by it and then make the right decision. The urge never goes away but it makes it easier to control. Like a muscle the more you exercise that mindful muscle through meditation stronger it becomes 4. Think in probabilities. Can only do this btw if your system is simple. Step 1 remember. They connect. You do not need to know what happens next. You need to be ok with that uncertainty and let the chips fall as they may. Long term you win. Not the next trade. Always trade small too. Which is obvious but few do it because they rush the process. Which just leads to the opposite result in the end. Slow is fast The slower you take it. The faster you succeed in this game And most stay stuck because they want it too much and they want it too quick Develop your skills, be patient and the results will find you. You won't have to force it. It flows to you That's the game

Trading will teach you more about yourself than self-help books ever will.

Two FATAL mistakes that'll DESTROY your trading account: 1. Moving stops because you're HOPING price will save you 2. Taking profits early because you NEED to feel "right" Both feel good in the moment... But they're POISON for your long-term success. Stop trading your emotions. START trading your plan. Deep psychology lesson But this is why you lose money This is why you stay losing money Read all of this and we will uncover your problem You stay in this loop of destructive mistakes because you are comfortable there On a conscious level you may say you want to be disciplined You want financial freedom You want to retire your fam But on an unconscious level you are not ready You may think "what do you mean im not ready I don't like losing money Mike" It goes deeper than that That is your comfort zone Everything we do revolves around feelings You are addicted to a feeling You stay unprofitable because you are use to that feeling and it is predictable You say you want to be consistent but you are afraid That is the unknown And when you are met with new emotions after being in this loop of destruction for so long your brain is confused It's outside your comfort zone You have built these patterns in your brain to predict a certain outcome so when you are met with something out of the ordinary that is when alot of you sabotage I know you have been in that place where you are doing so good so consistent and then you just throw it all away and then you look up and think "wtf did I do" You went on autopilot You have a program in your brain that took over a certain set of patterns that you reverted to That feeling I was talking about Familiar misery You hate it but at the same time you are comfortable there and would rather stay there then venture into the unknown because on an unconscious level you think "that isn't me" but that is a lie you tell yourself That lower nature that degen we call it It takes about a month to develop those new patterns in your brain So the beginning is going to be the hardest But once you get over that hurdle it becomes easier You need to be mindful You need to be aware of the issue and that is the point of this post because when you are aware it can not manipulate you from the dark anymore You shine a flashlight on it It will be uncomfortable But it will be worth it Redirect focus consistently again again and again And it will happen You will break through that wall Consistency is the most powerful force on earth Done long enough your brain will rewire And you will be thinking like a winner And the results will follow
