The old api-v2launch.trakt.tv end point will be removed today. Please use api.trakt.tv instead.
The API host name api-v2launch.trakt.tv will be removed on February 1. This has been deprecated since 2017. This will only affect very old apps and they need to use api.trakt.tv to continue working beyond February 1.

Just send OAuth to the comment methods and blocked users will be automatically removed. trakt.docs.apiary.io/#reference/mov…
Blocked comments are now fully removed from view on the website (not just collapsed). Official apps will have this update soon and 3rd party apps can too with a small code update.

New methods added to update notes on list items, personal recommendation items, watchlist items. API docs updated with examples.
The Trakt API will be back online next week. Trakt apps and 3rd party apps won’t work until then.
API will return an error 503 until things are restored.

@Lassofn I’d recommend positing in their GitHub as a first step. That’s actually a 3rd party package.

As announced several weeks ago, the list limits are enforced as of today on the Trakt website and API.
The auto scaling is having issues, but is returning to normal now. This temporarily affected the website and API.
FYI list limits will be encoded starting June 14.
Lists now support notes on all items for VIP members. On May 31, we’ll begin enforcing limits on lists and items. We need to clamp down on massive lists negatively affecting API and website performance. Continue the discussion and ask any questions here: github.com/trakt/api-help…

@heyzeto Looks like some servers went haywire overnight here and fixed themselves after a few hours.
@seankaw No, just pushed a potential fix for that.
API performance is improving. We added a bunch more servers to help stabilize things and are continuing to investigate the cause. App developers: please optimize your apps and cache data locally as much as possible. This helps all apps that use the API.
We’re looking into the API slowness and 502 errors. Will post more details once we know what’s going on.
