I turned 45 a few hours ago, so here's the recent update. Divorced after 18 years of marriage, selarated for 18 months, met a girl at a Ham Radio campout, woke up at her place this morning, drinking coffee out of a new mug chasing it with box brownies. Got ejected from white collar work did ahard restart as an electrician, love the work, love most of the coworkers, pay sucks child support is predatory, gotta fix and sell the old place, pay raise in 260 hours. Today I het to work a site that requires demolition work, I love breaking stuff, probably a pile of scrap copper, probably get to use some heavy equipment, probably be done with shidt early with full pay, foreman loves me. Headed to Brazilian Steakhouse tonight, gonna get wrecked on water and meat, probably head to the girlfriend's house after for dessert. Still sober by choice, no court issues, almost 2 years, no need to medicate at this point, almost clear of everything on the old chapter, mood is genuinely better, turns out most of my mental stuff was environmental. Blade work is accelerating, closer to handle scales being manufactured, closer to slamming out the fun of beveling everything, girlfriend can grind too (blew my mind), buddy offered to bolt handles together, I might train my other buddy to sharpen (lots of qc, I promise), still need left wrist to be back for the epoxy handled last ones. Always balancing living in the moment (mug from girlfriend) and looking to the horizon (me) to keep things balanced while not completely neglecting the past. Thank y'all for being here. For those in a dark spot, I have good news : you're gonna make it if you give it a chance. You'll be stronger than your circumstances after eating enough of it. But it's gonna suck the whole time until one day it doesn't suck so bad.

Well finally got a @palmettoarmory dagger frame and am quite happy with it. This isn't the final build as I just took this slide off another pistol for a picture but not bad for $83 after shipping, tax and transfer.
