As a US Representative I would have hoped you had a better grasp of Title IX. This is all emotional pleading while intentionally dodging the reality of the matter. Title IX is a sex based protection originally implemented to address a high level of discrimination against females in our schools. It separated athletics based on sex to ensure equal opportunities for FEMALES. THIS IS A SEX BASED PROTECTION. If schools do not abide by Title IX they are at risk of losing federal funds. You know this, or at least you should. Your party added gender identity to our state discrimination laws putting institutions that receive Title IX funding at odds with federal law. Jefferson County has consistently implemented policies that fly in the face of Title IX, therefore… they are facing consequences. They bunk males with females without informing the female students or the parents. They allow males in female sports …. These are blatant violations of Title IX. It’d be nice if you stood up for equal opportunities for females. But per usual, you’re making this a low tier “Trump bad” argument..
