@karpathy That is why the fewest dependencies is the best software. With AI coding, you can now create libraries from scratch, even more easily than before, and have 100% control over this type of attack... still, this is the vector for most future software attacks.

An AC-based approach lowers deployment friction by leveraging more standardized interconnection pathways and potentially reducing installation and equipment costs, which is critical for scaling. Tesla’s entry also materially changes market confidence. When a manufacturer with significant EV fleet penetration and vertically integrated hardware/software introduces grid services functionality, it validates the economic and technical viability of EVs as distributed energy resources (DERs). This accelerates interest among utilities, ISO/RTOs, and aggregators in integrating mobile storage into demand response, capacity markets, and resilience programs. More broadly, this signals the beginning of EVs transitioning from transportation assets to multi-use energy infrastructure. If standardized correctly, this could unlock large-scale virtual power plants, improve grid flexibility during peak demand, and create new revenue streams for vehicle owners while helping mitigate distribution upgrade costs. The remaining challenge—and opportunity—will be aligning interconnection standards, utility tariffs, and market participation rules to ensure these resources can scale safely and equitably across service territories.

This is the incorrect approach to integrating AI agents into an organization to produce authentic functionality effectively. Properly implementing AI agents will necessitate an entirely new data structure for companies to adopt, enabling secure and audit-friendly access to information for agents. For agents to possess genuine power, they require access to a vast array of data. Computer access is akin to what humans currently have. However, the challenge lies in the fact that security measures have been established over decades to restrict this access.

I have been using the 27-inch Studio display for 4 months and a Dell 31.5-inch display for 2 years, both with integrated USB-C hubs. They are both great monitors; it just depends on what you care about and need. If money is not a factor, the 5K display is fantastic and has been the gold standard since the 5K iMacs. But I also love my 4K Dell U3225QE. I woudl also consider a 240Hz OLED gaming monitor from LG. Teh only thing taht makes Apple so great is the built-in speakers and the built-in webcam.

You're not wrong about the natural gas on the grid, but the progress over the last decade has been going in the right direction! Look at all the solar! Now, energy needs to be less expensive to make it a win! California has the highest prices per kilowatt. As for the Zero Electric Vehicle, the 'zero' refers to zero tailpipe emissions. You are referring to the long tailpipe argument, which is now well understood to have significant emission benefits over a vehicle's lifetime.
