This is the case in all those super "egalitarian" Scandinavian countries: the productive economy is dominated by men and women are occupied in "caring" sectors like healthcare, daycare, schools, etc. Like the old joke: "Capitalism is the exploitation of man by man, and communism is the other way around." In patriarchal societies, men work harder so that women can take care of the children, the elderly, and do charity work; egalitarian societies are totally different, they are societies where men work harder so that women can take care of the children, the elderly, and do charity work.
Iceland: women are 62% of central government and 70% of municipal employees. In many ministries and offices, women far outnumber men, reaching near-total dominance. A woman-dominated state apparatus.
