Then the what comes out. The first output hands the Buyer their change and the freshly minted Product. The second output pays the Seller. The fees and the balance are computed for you — you state the intent, not the arithmetic.

That's the whole program. ~25 lines, talking to mainnet at the protocol level. Right now the block is just CBOR, hand the bytes back to Pallas and decode them into typed structs — txs, datums, tokens, etc — across any era; but that's for another thread. github.com/txpipe/pallas

Then fetch the block. One Pallas call drives the BlockFetch mini-protocol end to end and hands you back the block's raw CBOR — exactly the bytes the peer had sitting on disk. That's the wire format, untouched.

The point: Dolos allows you to tune resource usage to your workload — not the other way around. Minimal ledger-only box or a full archive, it's the same node. Predictable costs, lean deployments, no infra you're not using.
