some people are suffering from an extreme addiction to attention have seen it on here where someone's post blows up and the taste of attention ruins them they end up mechanically searching for anything they can say or do to try and experience it again they end up an empty husk with zero sense of self, pushed to extremes and entirely programmed by the algorithm it's even worse because you can monetize this addiction and make a career out of it and so much of what's wrong with the world is downstream from these people

It took less than a day to get comfortable with Omarchy after years on Apple. Haven’t touched my MacBook ever since. Such a wonderful Omakase setup, especially for development.
Started reading "Only the Paranoid Survive" from Andy Grove (the CEO of Intel) and the table of contents made me pause. This book was published in 1996.
I've been using Vim + tmux as my primary code editor for a few weeks now and investing hours and hours to learn it properly is one of the best investments I've made as a developer, right after learning Ruby on Rails five years ago and switching to Linux last year. Having Claude Code running on the side to suggest various vim motions, keyboard shortcuts, best practices, and update configuration as needed has been a massive help in learning. It's amazing how easy AI has made it to learn new tools, new skills, and whatever it is that you want to learn.
