@Pancreassassin I just know I was like 9 or 10 maybe? with my very first ANIMAS insulin pump! I was started on saline and had a trainer over at the house with my family and I believe she checked in on us before starting with insulin. She was amazing from what I can remember lol my memory SUCKS

@sugarbbybrinaa I do think Julia Roberts would’ve done more research had the movie been done later in her career but I also could be very wrong! Or they would’ve found someone with more knowledge? But it’s Hollywood so I expect nothing from them lmao

@sugarbbybrinaa I’m not sure if it’s cause I grew up with it (as a t1d) or because I never wanted kids but this movie gives me no reaction. I mean, I do cry but aside from not a great representation of t1d, I still love it cause it’s hilarious!

Made a latte this morning and - I didn’t like it. I have moved on from lattes and prefer shaken espressos or cold brews only! Lattes are too much milk for me now!

for those who are new here: you can restart a sensor by sticking a test strip under the transmitter for 15 minutes so it disconnects you don’t have to fully remove it

My blood sugar was in the 400s for 5 hours last night, almost no sleep. I have an important work day ahead and can’t keep my eyes open. It’s bullshit that in the professional world we’re expected to perform at the same level as healthy people while dealing with this everyday.

I’m switching back to my old M*d*ronic paradigm revel pump and I’m excited to try the new Mio sites! Has anyone used them already? What are your thoughts? I like that it’s one button but hate that there’s more waste…

Going back to my Paradigm Revel pump but I’m still salty my purple one broke and they didn’t even replace it with another purple one…at least it was replaced with a black one, almost as black as my heart and soul
