🚨BREAKING: The Head of Excavation at GOBEKLI TEPE just DOUBLED-DOWN: @drleeclare has “absolutely no intention to excavate the entire site”👇🏻🤯 This is a crime against Humanity. Many believe Gobekli Tepe is an ancient ‘Time Capsule’ of preserved information, or possibly the World’s oldest Calendar. This is arguably the most important archaeological site on Earth, containing the highest potential to answer questions related to Humanities UNKNOWN origins. Make it make sense. Not excavating the remaining ~128 T-Pillars is the antithesis of Archaeology. This is entirely unacceptable. The World must demand further excavation, and put people in charge of excavating it who share this same goal.

During excavations at Huaca Yolanda in the coastal Peruvian region of La Libertad, archaeologists uncovered a mural that’s between 3,000 and 4,000 years old. This three-dimensional rock art once adorned a temple wall and features designs of stars and fish unlike any recorded in the area before.

@BrightInsight6 Tree roots will mess up my septic tank... of course it will damage something much more fragile like 11,600 year old ruins. I don't understand.

It's a shame when people in control/involved in important sites such as Gobekli Tepe act like children. Questions should be answered. You don't own history. Irresponsible.
