This logic doesn’t make any sense. Why does the range of the numbers matter? The American logic is that MMDDYY is how dates are said when spoken aloud. Like “May twenty seventh, twenty twenty six”

the argument that the european date format is more "logical" never holds up to any scrutiny. the month is going to be the smallest range of numbers, 1-12. day of the month is next, ranging 1-31, and then the year, the largest number. perfectly logical. europeans are just coping.

My microwave has a “quick 30” button, which I guess is like typing in 30, but it takes one button instead of two. I’ll give it to them, that is quicker.
