Wow... this reminds me of earlier this year at UHWI when I had to “bag” a 28 yo male patient for 9 hours straight before ICU could even find a vent for him... And to top things off, regular work was ONLY started AFTER this life saving marathon!

People love have strength for Khia cuz she put herself out there. Notice, no doctors disagreeing with what she's doing or saying because we know the realities. So we can continue to argue semantics, however, we are fighting for the same thing because change in the healthcare

A lot of doctors in Jamaica looking to leave the health system now more than ever. A lot looking to paths outside of hospital medicine and others looking at other industries. Covid has exposed so many flaws in our health system that the doctors are feeling helpless n discouraged
