⇨ Vault CMS by @davidvkimball is an open-source headless CMS that turns Obsidian into an easily integrable publishing platform for Astro website projects.
In light of this update, all plugins for Vault CMS will be upgraded to approved Community plugins soon and will move away from any BRAT-dependencies. We're prioritizing the most widely used plugins first.
Today we're introducing the new Obsidian Community site, the new developer dashboard, and a roadmap of things to come for plugins and themes.

Obsessed with Astro since discovering its the perfect fit for Obsidian. Now this project merges them into a single vault, letting me to write and publish instantly.

I am so, so proud of @vaultcms. It doesn't have a ton of traction right now, but it has enough. I am releasing a 2-3 hour masterclass course on YouTube for it, solely for the purpose of showing everyone exactly how it works, showcasing its capabilities. It will have a beginner, intermediate, and expert section, ranging from manually downloading zips and using presets, to configuring things yourself in a wizard, to setting it all up via command line. I AM SO EXCITED! I will hopefully be publishing this video within a week's time.
New @vaultcms.org Minimal, clean, straightforward. Download manually or install with the command line.
Package name update. We're now: pnpm create vaultcms No more hyphen! This extends to our repo URLs as well.
