@rbarbosa91 @SeanLangenfeld “Pyramidal” programs were the rule 50 years ago. The “unfortunate” residents who were cut from General Surgery training became Orthopedic Surgeons and Urologists, specialties which came to be more remuniterave with better lifestyles. Go figure.

@AnnalsofSurgery And Illinois has limited access to surgical care for pediatric patients (under 14) to ambulatory cases only unless there is a pediatrician on call. Not only limits access but is disrespectful of the Family Practice physicians.
