It’s been on my tbr pile for a while but I finally read The Star Outside My Window. @OnjaliRauf you are incredible, this book is so beautiful and sad and uplifting and thought provoking. I loved it. Thank you. @MakeHerstory1

Today I have finished reading a book, started another, written half a report, coloured some flowers in a colouring book, watched 3 films, been for a short walk with my very small dog and sat in the sunshine in my garden. #StayHomeSaveLives

Just finished my first book of lockdown - This absolute delight by @MHarrison13 Have to say it is probably one of the best books I have ever read. I was hooked throughout, loved it all. Can't wait to share with my class when we get back to school.

@crisp_aholic Staff on a 60% rota, approx 45 children expected across the week but not every day. 2/3 teachers and 2 TAs in each of 3 classes - 1 of year 3/4, 1 year 5, 1 year 6. This is our week 1 plan, under constant review as obviously everything has been.

@JennyMcLachlan1 I started reading The Land of Roar to my year 4 class (4A) today and before we knew it we were on chapter 12! We’ve laughed, gasped and fallen in love with the story so far! Can’t wait to read on! Any chance of a tweet from the author to enhance the experience?

@RoyalMail delivery card for 3 parcels says has been delivered to my neighbour (house number on card). Neighbour has not taken any parcels today. Where are my parcels? Am I supposed to knock on every door on the street to work out where they have actually been delivered to?

Half term so far: A quiet Saturday building the Hogwarts Express out of Lego. Today a Scout Leaders First Aid refresher course in a cold hut in the middle of the woods. Later today - off to see #Diversity at the #brightoncentre . A mixed bag so far, mirroring the term I’ve had.

@PaulGarvey4 I’m on a course 5 minutes from home. Still got up at normal time though. Quite enjoy the peace before everyone else wakes up. Oh and cuddles with the dog.

Wow Monday night A and E is an interesting place! Spent 4 hours there with my youngest who had suspected appendicitis (luckily it wasn’t) and it was crazy. Have to say though, despite the mad chaos we were well looked after, saw lots of doctors and finally sent home to rest.

Husband has annoying habit of moving things when people come around. You know, in case they see them. So last week it was the embarrassment of having some spare toilet rolls in the downstairs loo. Now it’s a whole washing basket with clean school shirts in. He claims no knowledge
