During yesterday's livestream, @ShawnFainUAW gave a shout out to our members at @MFJUnion in @UAWRegion9A who have been on strike for eight weeks fighting for better wages and working conditions at Mobilization for Justice. It appears management at MFJ doesn’t appreciate the hard work and dedication these workers bring to their organization. Unfortunately for management — they’re going to find out the hard way: our members are going to stay out on the picket line for as long as it takes until they win justice.

It's been more than a month (!) since @MFJUnion voted to go out on strike. Since our early coverage, they've been picketing regularly, and this week issued an update that @MFJLegal has hired strikebreakers. Among other things, MFJ staff work with supportive housing tenants:

This is the 5th week of our strike, and instead of returning to the bargaining table in good faith, management at @MFJLegal has not sent any new offers since FEBRUARY 9TH and has hired scabs to prolong the strike. No words. @MFJUnion
