No, I just have connections to the parapsychology research community and have spent more time than most thinking about mechanisms. A purely materialist explanation (by which I mean an explanation in terms of currently known forces governing the interactions of matter) runs into the counter-argument that the standard model of particle physics is complete, and thus there are no forces to be discovered that could account for telepathy; Sean Carroll made this argument in the post "The Laws Underlying The Physics of Everyday Life Are Completely Understood", and it has gaslit people into thinking that such phenomena are impossible according to established physics. The possibility Carroll ignored (and what decades of parapsychology research on the phenomenon of "retropsychokinesis" indicate) is that these phenomena don't work through what physics has defined as a "force", but rather work through consciousness retrocausally at the point of wavefunction collapse. If we now switch to playing detective and look for commonalities in what comes through from people who experience themselves as being in telepathic contact with extraterrestrials, the following picture emerges: 1) extraterrestrials are interested in earth because the sheer amount of disharmony on earth is creating "pollution" (in consciousness-space) that drags down other civilizations. As an example of where this claim was made, see the documentary series "Portal to the Pleiadians". 2) some civilizations believe that earth can be rescued. This coalition tends to be described as "the Galactic Federation", and involves races commonly referred to as "Pleiadian", "Greys" and "Arcturians" (there are many others, but these are the key ones that keep coming up in my snooping) 3) the Pleiadians supposedly look very close to Nordic humans, and are sometimes called "Blondes". Bizarre, I know. The explanation given is that they are genetically related to humans, because extraterrestrials interfered in our early evolution to create modern day homo sapiens, hence all the Genesis stories and ancient Sumerian myths (and I think the claim is that this human genetic stock was then used in other civilizations, but that exact family tree is muddier for me). Note that genetic analysis of modern day homo sapiens does suggest we went through an intense bottleneck of a few thousand humans, which is not inconsistent with the idea of there being a small seed population of genetically modified humans. Anyway, if you want more details, see the eBook "Masters of Limitation: an ETs observation of Earth" - but I want to caution that because I have seen slight variations of this same narrative across different sources, it seems that under the hypothesis that it has some truth, it is plausible that some of the specifics are getting lost in translation; everything is being channeled, so the channel matters. 4) There is a lot of politics around what can and cannot be said. Some of the species watching earth appear to be "cleanup" species (I interpreted this to mean that they think the best route to end the disharmony is for human life to be "cleaned up"). This mention of a "cleanup species" was in an interview with a very popular spiritual leader who says she was born with a disability that means she is not fully "plugged into" this reality. I have seen Bashar blanket refuse to answer questions about some extraterrestrial races (specifically "reptilians"), so it does seem that there is a lot of politics going on. As an aside, in doing this casual detective work, I tend to rate a channeler or spiritual leader as reliable if they can demonstrate uncanny clarity in the other things they say. I am not sure what is going on with reptilians, but they come up too often for me to dismiss, and one explanation that I have encountered (from Bashar) is that *most* of the time, what happens when something is perceived as "reptilian" is that the fear center of the mammalian brain is being activated and therefore perceiving reptile-like features (after all, we were once at the mercy of dinosaurs). 5) It also seems important at this point to mention that Steven Greer has been saying for a long time that a lot of the harmful experiences that get blamed on extraterrestrials are actually just false flag operations. However, I rate Greer as not caring that much about the full truth because in some of his documentaries he seems to present wild speculation as fact, and presents information in a way that can mislead the viewer about what is known. 6) According to virtually all the sources, parallel realities exist, and which reality we end up in depends on the state of our consciousness; the more you operate from a place of fear, the more likely you are to find yourself in a reality that reinforces those fears. If you are afraid of death, I urge you to start listening to the wisdom that comes back from near-death experiences and recognize that death is likely one of the most liberating things that can happen to your consciousness; it is not the end, it is simply the process of removing the "VR headset" of the body and returning to "base reality", as fans of the simulation hypothesis like to put it (seemingly without realizing it's not a simulation on a computer that we appear to be living in, but rather a simulation in consciousness-space). 7) We are currently in the process of "splitting" into drastically different timelines. However, do not assume that if you find yourself in a conflict-ridden timeline that it is because there is a darkness in your consciousness that you are unaware of. I mean, maybe there is, I don't have all the answers, but I have also heard it said that some of us will select into timelines with a lot of conflict out of a desire to "be in the trenches", which for me means: a desire to not abandon others who are there. 8) In particular, the re-election of Trump appears to have set us on an especially bumpy road, based on this recent transmission from Bashar made before the election - keep in mind that Bashar says they are not giving an opinion about what will happen, but rather reporting their observations of information embedded in the fabric of spacetime at the time the question was asked. Specifically, Bashar said (after triple checking that the audience was prepared to take responsibility for the information delivered, and after cautioning that he was only allowed to get involved in human politics here because we are so close to contact): "The female will lead to open contact...[double checking that the audience wants him to continue]...the male will lead to the termination of the United States and World War 3." I'm already confident that telepathic contact is possible from looking at the evidence for it, and (contrary to extremely irresponsible claims made by ignorant scientists), it is fully compatible with the known laws of physics. All that is needed is to recognize that we are not
