@EngFocus All of the improvements need ££££ but nobody is willing to spend the money, if northern had SIWW & increases of staff complements as required things would improve dramatically. But the Treasury & DFT won't fund it, using the lack of traincrew reason is wearing thin now

@philatrail The staff want change & modernisation, the unions are fighting for more staff & aslef want Sundays in the working week. Burnham needs to persuade the DFT & Treasury to fund these changes, then things will improve but until then things will only gey worse

@WBRailUA @CricketAleTrain The present timings have created a far more robust TT & service on the route, the 58mins doesn't work in reality unless the 150s return aswell as request stop working is brought back. The 197s & 230s cannot keep to the 58mins timings due to numerous reasons.
