@survivetheark So got to say not loving this as the final concept... Looks like a taller terror bird they added Featherlight feathers too... Like bird on abberation... The whole point of the map is to not have rideable bird tames. I would of rather seen spider-like submissions added to on Ab.

@SyntacYT I totally agree. Thanks for sharing this. I feel that there's a lot of good changes being made, but some decisions need to be relooked at a bit. Being a 5k hour player, I am very excited for remastered Ark, less excited to pay AGAIN for that game, but excited to see what they do.

About ARK: Survival Ascended... After a lot of thought over the weekend I hope there will be changes coming to ASA. For one, I am pretty confused why they are seemingly including ARK2 in a bundle for an extra $10. Seems like a way to sweeten the deal but people are paying extra for something they do not even know they will want. Showcasing some form of gameplay might help win people over but I get why they are hesitant to do so. Also Xbox players were going to get the game free anyways with the game pass. I would imagine we will be able to just get ASA for $40 though. If they wanted people to pay $50 then they could have included both DLC packs in that price. Most of the creatures in the DLCs are available on free maps anyways. Considering there will also be another seemingly paid dlc coming "new canonical-story expansion pack". I am hoping there will be a change here. Pulling support for all official servers does seem a little extreme though. They could certainly shrink down their network to make room for the new game but outright removing it all doesnt seem fair. Especially towards last gen console players who wont even be able to buy ASA. On a sidenote, this does make sense as they will need to drop support for those consoles eventually. They arent powerful enough to continue to support. Just in general, I personally feel like I have more than gotten my moneys worth from ark. 17,000hrs in the game so I have no issues paying for the remastered version. I am happy that this will be a fresh download and will not nuke the current ark mod workshop too. I do believe the issue here lies with the statement from Jeremy claiming just 60 days ago that the UE5 upgrade will be free. Not a great look to the studio here but judging by a lot of what I am seeing here on twitter recently, it does sound like their publisher, Snail games is on a downward curve and needs revenue for their survival. Not like anyone at WC will even be able to confirm this to us but yet they will have to take the reputational hit for this. Just speculation but when we consider the recent news that Wildcard has had to fight against changes Snail wanted to make to the game such as a paid tek shield and a paid tek drill to break said shield... It does seem like Snail cares more about making money and less about making good games. A quick look at Snails steam games shows flop after flop and all of them are dead in the water. I commend WC for standing up against these ideas and keeping their game as pure as they possibly can. When it comes to the ARK2 delays I will admit, I had a pretty negative reaction to this news. I should have thought about it a little more before speaking on it in my video. I understand that the game will be vastly different with new mechanics and gameplay they have not produced before plus all of the new tech that UE5 brings... Makes a lot of sense to heavily delay it. I think most of my frustrations comes from simple excitement for the game. I will patiently await its release and am happy to wait extra long for an impressive product. To sign off, I am very greatful for what Wildcard has produced over these years. This game has brought so many important people into my life and I thank them for that. Not to mention the 1.4M people who have supported me. Today is actually my 7th anniversery on Youtube and over these 7 years I have gotten opportunities which could only have been dreams without this game. I am going to continue to support their games because I have fun with them. I won't judge others for feeling differently but I know there are good people in that company who just want to make a good product and I want the best for them. Plus dinosaurs are fun. Oh and yes... I am a disgusting degenerate who paid for twitter blue. I only did so to be able to keep basic features that should be free. And they are also locking creator stuff behind a paywall too 🙄

@survivetheark While I think it's great Wildcard is going to remaster Ark 1 in UE5 and fix allot of the aspects of the original game that were broken. I cannot get behind them making us repurchase the same content we have already invested into. Wildcard needs to make the dlc's free!
