@rebelredpocket @joenickys I like to browse bird edits on tiktok and there was a bird conservation and rehabilitation edit about bird captivity that used the song and the phrase of "every animal deserves sunshine even if they're just birds" and the edit didn't even have common loons OR kingfishers smdh....

A fic I love & am enchanted w/ right now is "Carrion Comfort" by eden22 @2buck2furious It is a plane crash AU where Ilya & Shane are on their way to the 2014 Sochi Olympics. My favorite thing is the characterization of Shane & Ilya--it is so well developed. WIP, 129k, E, NAWA.

@summerbloods it is hard because these are all parts that build from and reinforce each other. they are all related to the point that it feels overwhelming to address. so i understand the impulse to turn away because it feels so big and impossible. but i believe we have to try, collectively.
