We just released Dragonfly v1.21 with SSD tiering! 🤯 Still alpha, but the results are 🔥. github.com/dragonflydb/dr… We compared it to Memcached’s ExtStore and Elasticache Tiered on an r6gd.xlarge instance with 150M, 600-byte strings. ->

Most importantly, The Student Loan Forgiveness Plan does nothing to solve the underlying problem with the American higher education system. College is way too expensive coupled with what are essentially predatory lending practices on campus. This bill does nothing to fix that.

Student Loan Forgiveness Plan sets the wrong expectations because it signals to students going forward that help is on the way and actually creates an incentive not to pay back their loans. Why should a 20 year old students work hard to earn money and pay back their debt now?
