This is how we achieve the BEST durability in our class while at the same time achieving the BEST performance. Providers are incentivized to be at the top of their game and are rewarded for it. That you can have all this at under $7/TB is AMAZING
HostIO creates 480MB rows of data split into 120 pieces, 80 data/40 parity. We seldom upload air unlike other decentralized storage. The process is in a constant lookback to find the fastest, most available providers to upload to from the VPD set up by the customer.
More from testing. This shows HostIO effectiveness inside the Relayer. Tiny blocks on the left are the fastest nodes who get the most data while blocks to the right are slower. Torrent users will recognize the footprint. It makes XNS way faster than AWS on both upload/download
