昨晚我系统地读了René Girard（Thiel和Vance喜欢的哲学家）的传记视频和他最著名的几本书，理解了他的模仿性欲望、替罪羊理论，终于算是理解到底Thiel他们最初怎么想的了。感叹一点：美国哲学主流真心没真正脱离基督教传统。Girard其实解释了殊死竞争的人类心理学来源， 并且给出了一个悲观的末世结论。而他的学生们呢，并不相信老师最后的结论（要做个真正的基督徒），而是把老师之前的人类心理学分析和末世预言用到了最大。一个学者评论得好，Girard的研究生学生最终都把老师和理论和其他人的理论一起融会贯通，但Girard的本科生学徒却把Girard的方法论当成了新福音。Girard理论可以说是新时代的投资哲学了——1）要追逐超越竞争的标的、2）要追逐放大模仿性欲望的标的、3）要放弃最适合做替罪羊的标的。硅谷这边人执行的很好：VC就是追第一个的，Facebook、Tiktok、AIGC就是追第二个，放弃中国市场就是追逐第三个。
LLM的兴起，潜在最大贡献是降低了知识鸿沟，也促进了理性思维在人决策中所占的比例。
