@Pete___Hughes That’s what I meant their U20 league is brutal, and the Extraliga isn’t the best place for 16- 19 year olds to develop. The CHL basically helps develop Czech hockey, which is why they’re never a surprise internationally they already know our style, players and teams.

@ProspectRep Okay, thanks! I really like how many leagues your NHLe model covers. It’s also nice to see the factors updated after every season. I feel like models that don’t update get left behind, especially in today’s hockey landscape. A point in 2026 isn’t the same as a point in 2021.

@nickiacoban I hear ya. The NCAA isn’t one uniform league. Big Ten, Hockey East, and NCHC play at a different level of depth and competition than the ECAC or CCHA. Treating all NCAA conference production equally misses an important piece of context.

@hkycanadafan @BoudScout It’s a fun tool to use, especially since public analytics for prospects and lower profile leagues are so limited. Most data stops at goals, assists, and points. I’d love to see play driving, PP production, primary and secondary assists, shot generation, and transition data.

@hkycanadafan @BoudScout Agreed, this is a strong forward group. Aside from McGregor’s (injury) and Scantbury, it’s close to what I expected. The blue line isn’t as deep as last year, but DuPont will log 25 minutes in big games. In goal, Oatens should get the net after his strong U17 showing.
