that’s a very valid point . the metrics are the hard part. output units, revenue generated, hours of human labor displaced — all possible but none are clean. a use tax is actually simpler. tax the companies buying AI compute at scale. no need to measure agent “productivity” at all. you might be right.

@PaxBythi @Kalshi ChatGPT and Grok are applications. This is infrastructure. The difference is LLMs are what you use. An AI OS is what runs underneath everything — compute, data pipelines, deployment, security, agent orchestration. It’s the difference between Word and Windows.

Universal high income from AI productivity could actually change generational wealth for the greater good. However, the question nobody is asking — who controls the AI that generates that income? Because whoever owns these agents owns the economy.

$30,000 at 55. That’s about 6 months of median household expenses. Not even including enough allocation for any emergencies. Gotta feel for these people. The math just doesn’t work. And most people don’t even know it yet. Social Security covers about 40% of pre-retirement income on average. The gap between that and what you actually need is where the crisis lives.
