@Rothmus Cuz they were joining army on their own will, although the mood of people of north was kinda liberal and compassionate to slaves too. Anyways, in the end slavery was cancelled so I guess it doesn't rly matter who we have to be grateful to, cuz, money always were the reason ._.

@Rothmus I mean, technically African's were selling people from other tribes and those were brought to America. And, if my memory serves me right, slavery in America was ended mostly due to split in the gov and it was a tactic to defeat confederates using freed slaves as a military force
