These are my TOP AIRDROP TARGETS for the rest of 2024. No ref links, no fluff. Lets get to it... 1. Bitcoin ecosystem: Why? Massive open ocean, huge TVL that could be unlocked, & less diluted because higher learning curve and barrier to entry. The Bitcoin ecosystem right now is what Solana was ~ a year ago. Huge potential. Top targets: - @MezoNetwork (a whole new ecosystem about to come online) - @Lombard_Finance & @babylonlabs_io (BTC staking is big $) - @fractal_bitcoin and anything backed by @unisat_wallet - @Stacks ecosystem (there are tons of new projects coming online here too) - There's lots more, you can check out my youtube video on BTC farming for more in-depth breakdowns 2. Solana Ecosystem: Why? Massive retail adoption, interesting new products launching, Solana airdrops have historically outperformed Ethereum airdrops Top Targets: - @JupiterExchange round 2 (can’t fade the best team in the eco) - @MeteoraAG for LP - @uselulo for yield and defi points farming - @solayer_labs and @sanctumso Season 2 for ‘staking’ - Anything memecoin related (@usemoonshot, @lmaohq, @pumpdotfun, etc.) Although you need to be careful not to lose money just in an attempt to farm… but this is clearly the dominant meta for Solana and AT LEAST ONE of these is bound to tokenize. - Passive farms like @switchboardxyz earn Orbs and get an airdrop for interacting with Solana defi using this oracle 3. Ethereum Ecosystem: Why? Despite lagging in growth, Ethereum still has the most defi TVL by a wide margin (especially if you include L2s). It has big network effects and generally there is still an ‘airdrop meta’ to be farmed. Top Targets: - @farcaster_xyz they have over 100M in funding and decentralized social has a strong narrative. I need to be more active there. - @Polymarket (biggest predictions market with possibility to tokenize) - @layer3xyz unironically I think this is one of the best places for people with LOW CAPITAL and lots of TIME to focus. It’s an airdrop lego because you earn $L3 airdrops plus you get to interact with a million other airdrop targets. It gives you clear goals and objectives and you can click buttons until your fingers fall off. - The L2 airdrop trade is nearly cooked BUT a few remaining L2s might still have decent yield: @use_corn is the newest one with decent funding - worth looking into. @LineaBuild, @Scroll_ZKP, @Mint_Blockchain, @berachain & @MorphL2 haven’t dropped yet. Others can still be farmed for their round 2+ airdrops, like @zksync, @modenetwork, @taikoxyz, @Optimism, etc. Some of these will likely drop peanuts but some will be decent. - Staking/restaking ROI is compressing into something that looks a lot like linear yield farming. Newer options like @symbioticfi might have more upside from this point than @eigencloud and EIGEN LRTs. I do still like using these assets as collateral or to farm multiple airdrops at once. Like depositing an LRT into @MitosisOrg on an L2 - you hit 4 or 5 airdrops with the same capital. There are also still interesting yield legos on @pendle_fi and similar apps where you can farm multiple TVL-based airdrop simultaneously. After $EIGEN and all the LRT coins like $SWELL and $COOK I am going to be in need of a new TVL sink ... BTCfi might be the best play if I'm being honest 4. Aptos Ecosystem: Why? Good funding, fast chain, large community supply, and actually has some dApps worth checking out. Top Targets: - Just doing @Aptos transactions and interacting with the network weekly because there is a massive outstanding supply of $APT that is meant to go towards the ‘community.’ - @AmnisFinance for staking APT - @AriesMarkets for lending/borrowing - Liquid Swap by @PontemNetwork for LP and swapping (meme coins have made it to Aptos too) 5. Bridges / Interoperability: Why? High valuations = good airdrops, the tech is necessary to enable cross-chain liquidity, and bridge-farming has become less diluted post-TGE for tokens like ZRO and W Top Targets: - @hyperlane - @LayerZero_Core round 2 - @wormhole round 2 - @jumperapp as an aggregator (route through @StargateFinance and Wormhole for airdrop legos) - OFC there are other bridges but I am becoming increasingly skeptical that they will drop good value 6. Cosmos Ecosystem: Why? This is a question that is becoming increasingly difficult to answer. Top Targets: - @unicornandmemes, the only Cosmos project I actually use regularly and have fun experimenting with. Still receiving regular airdrops of meme coins and trading with $UWU. - I am still staking ATOM, DYM, TIA, & AXL (including via LST providers) but this may be a form of Stockholm syndrome. I’m much less bullish on Cosmos now than I was even earlier this year. There just isn’t a super compelling killer app/use case and Cosmos is lagging behind Solana and other newer Alt L1 ecosystems. 7. Other Ecosystems: Why? Emerging ecosystems do have potential although it’s pretty impossible to spread your attention and liquidity to reach every single one. Top Targets: - Sui - Sei - Telegram and the Ton blockchain ecosystem (closely linked) 8. Random opportunities: - @AnzenFinance stable coin protocol on Base is interesting - @monad_xyz, which nobody can confirm if it’s real or not. - @megaeth - @union_build once they launch mainnet - @triadfi on Solana - Some testnets like @plumenetwork and @initia could launch mainnet soon, worth monitoring these - Crypto games like @RuniverseGame have potential as well, although it's tough to know which game will COOK 9. Things I am completely fading: - Random money markets / DEXes on ETH L2s: I’ll obviously LP and use these while farming OTHER things as part of yield legos but as standalones I think most will be worth peanuts. We’ve seen several examples of failed launches in this category and I don’t have high hopes any more for these UNLESS they are massively cross-chain and have huge funding and huge TVL. - Perp Dexes: I feel like the ship has sailed on perp dex farming. Now there are too many of them and there have been a lot of disappointing drops so far (most recently Orderly and LogX). Plus there is always the risk that you get liquidated and lose more trading than you would earn from the airdrop. Most people are terrible traders, let's not kid ourselves. - Wallets: obviously I use many different crypto wallets but I don’t go out of my way to farm them. Swaps and bridging in-wallet are usually significantly more expensive and probably not worth the $ spent. - NFT exchanges: I’ll use them if I want to actually trade something but so many people got burned farming Tensor, Blur, Magic Eden etc. that these airdrops have to be MASSIVE just to make up for trading losses. Too risky IMO.

In the end, someone has to pay for your gains Protocol launches at very low fdv? - Founders are giving up the profits to the “community” Generous airdrop program? - god bless exit liquidity providers Points program running for 1y+? - gg, you’ve been farmed Launching new token and abandoning an old one? - thx for playing bag holders Etc etc There is no model that will make everyone rich, there are just less or more predatory models

A DeFi resurgence is coming. Here are 5 meta's you should be following closely. 1. "Just use @aave" With rates set to fall, investors will look to once again access the onchain base interest rate of the economy. Aave is DeFi's liquidity sink with the best risk-adjusted returns, and with increasing revenue metrics from new sources such as $GHO, which is seeing continuous growth and adoption, it looks set to take center stage in DeFi's resurgence. @marczeller's simple statement has even got @realDonaldTrump using the protocol. 2. "What is dead may never die" It happens every cycle... $ETH gets shat on, put's in lows vs $BTC, and then, all of a sudden a resurgence happens. Network effects, economic security, and liquidity are not to be overlooked. The whole layer 2 system has progressed and simplified, and the burn mechanic has yet to truly showcase itself in a DeFi run. 3. "Shiny new coin syndrome" What will the new DeFi hub be for this next cycle? It's always worth keeping an eye on ecosystems with proven teams, unique tech, and money to spend. @0xSonicLabs comes to mind here. Also, keep an eye on narratives that exploded and have since recoiled. i.e. @CelestiaOrg and @SuiNetwork. And of course, @solana will always show its face. 4. "Rising from the DeFi ashes" OG DeFi protocols native assets have been through the shitter recently. But, having clear smart contract lindy, and having gone through (or coming up to) upgrades and evolutions in tech while being at the long-tail of emissions is not to be overlooked. From @Uniswap, and @yearnfi to @Balancer and @CurveFinance, don't overlook the kings. New protocols will leverage/direct their liquidity assets on these platforms. 5. "Make it simple" A new DeFi meta is emerging - Protocols abstracting away all user complexities with a single deposit solution that autonomously routes liquidity into tried and trusted yield sources. Examples include @Curvance and @TokemakXYZ.

In good times, investors obsess over the positive, ignore the negative and interpret the situation favourably. Then, when sentiment changes, they do the opposite, with dramatic results.
