Fight for simple. You. The opponent. The ball. It never has to get more complicated than simplicity.

There isn’t good and bad. It just is what it is. Adding adjectives to describe a swing, putt, pitch, etc. only adds unneeded emotions, which impacts your thought life, and ultimately, your performance.

Saying YES to one thing means you’re saying NO to everything else. Make sure it’s worth it. Say NO to 90% of what comes your way so you can say heck yes to that 10% that will really move you forward.

Your decisions determine your dilemmas. For good or bad, where you end up is no one’s fault but your own. Here’s a tip for best decision making practices: If it’s not a HECK YES! . . . it’s a NO. Be all in or all out with no hard feelings.

How you do something (attitude) is just as important as what you’re doing. Be a blessing to yourself and others by seeing whatever you HAVE TO do as something you GET TO do. Have to = obligation Get to = privilege Experiment with GET TO today and experience the benefits

Today + today + today = a lifetime. Today is the most important day of your life because it’s the only one you’ve got. It’ll either move you towards or away from the life you want.

Want more confidence? Remember your opponent is human, too.

If you knew the true price of success, how close would you be to paying it this week?

Patience is underrated. Patience with a great attitude is almost unheard of. Try it on. Maybe you’ll go from unheard of to most talked about.

You don’t need any one else’s approval or belief in you. Just yours. Yours is enough and all that’s necessary to get the job done consistently.

Do you think of yourself as a business? You.INC If not . . . Start. The MLB draft is going on right now. 30 teams are asking “Why should I invest in you?” Give a college or progressional organization a good reason to pay you to play the game you love.

Your responsibility as an athlete is to #1 see the situation as it truly is so you can #2 make the right next move. How can you make the right next move if your perspective is clouded?

This summer . . . aim to master ONE THING in your sport. Until you reach the MLB, NBA, PGA, NFL, etc) everything is just practice & refining. Don’t fear failing this summer. Fear being the same athlete in August that you were in May because you didn’t specify your ONE THING

There’s no such thing as positive or negative believing. There’s only believing. Make sure what you’re believing is aimed at what you want to accomplish.

If you have crazy goals (playing professionally or D1) . . . You gotta be willing to be a little crazy yourself. I challenge you today and every today after today to be RELENTLESSLY OPTIMISTIC that right here right now you’re going to get the job done.

Focus on what you need to do now rather than on what you weren’t able to accomplish last time. The past doesn’t need you now. The present moment demands all your attention.
