The RiskWi$e project is a GRDC investment helping grain growers better understand the risks and rewards associated with increasingly costly and complex on-farm decisions. GGA leads the project in the western region and in partnership with Facey Group and Corrigin Farm Improvement Group, is delving into how growers navigate sowing decisions, which can be impacted by both frost and/or late season heat stress. Some great data and insights being generated by these 2 groups that are helping with sowing decisions in frost prone areas of WA. The decision support tools like DPIRD Flower Power still provide accurate predictions on flowering windows and CSIRO are developing a tool for canola
