Oh sweetie, bless your heart. Here, let me fetch this knowledge from the top shelf for you. 1. The "friends and family discount" is actually what those in the business call a "spread". 2. Canadian oil (WCS) is heavy and sour, and thus is significantly discounted based on quality versus other available sources for potential buyers of Canadian buyers. By comparison, most US oil (WTI) is light and sweet. 3. Albertan oil is landlocked and must be piped or railed thousands of miles to buyers in the US Midwest and Gulf whose facilities are optimized for heavy sour crude. 4. Albertan oil production shuts down in 3-5 weeks without US buyers, depending on current fixed storage inventories at Canadian terminals. 5. The only option to move oil out of Alberta to non-US export markets is the TMX pipeline, which has a maximum throughput of 900K barrels per day. That's only 20% of daily production. 6. The most impacted US buyers of reduced or more expensive Canadian oil would be in the Midwest refining complex, who cannot easily substitute for Albertan crude. But there's a hitch... 7. Canada buys a shitload of refined products from those same Midwest refineries, and cannot easily replace that supply. Any increase in price or reduction in supply horseshoes right back to Canadian consumers, particularly in the central and eastern provinces and across all modes of transportation and logistics. 8. Reducing the flow rate (i.e. export sales to the US) of Albertan oil sands production would trigger immediate mass job layoffs in Alberta and force shut-ins of production sites - these cannot be made operational quickly once offline. Thus... The "friends and family discount" is not that at all. It's Canadian energy companies playing the cards they're dealt to ensure crude oil production flows south while refined fuels move north. The US would be hit hard for 6-12 months while refiner supply chains adjust. Canada would enter a crippling recession almost immediately, and have zero options to dig out of the hole for years. I hope this helps you understand some extremely basic principles that you probably should have understood prior to drooling your crayon-flavored spit all over the timeline.

The USA should be able to buy as much oil from Canada as they like. The USA should no longer receive the much discounted 'friends and family' rate(s) it has come to enjoy. New rules. Pay market prices if you want to act like fucking mobsters. They can go back to discounted

Talkative Tiffany then yapped her way into an arrest after being detained and immediately called daddy. Then she yaps the entire ride to the jailhouse from the backseat. She was hit with disorderly conduct and an officer who does not want to be her friend. Come on vacation, leave on probation.

So wait a second. We were told that Shiloh Hendrix had berated a child. That was allegedly the reason the Somali guy started filming and hassling her. But the jury acquitted her of disorderly conduct against the child and convicted her of disorderly conduct against the guy with the camera. Which means she actually didn't say anything to the kid. She was being harassed by the guy with the camera for no reason. And now she's been convicted of a crime simply for telling the guy to leave her alone. This is total madness.
