@jeracerx @tux1234 Besides power, they're fundamentally privateer Twin Turbo conversions of GT2/N-GT cars. So perhaps not as sophisticated at the chassis level to GT1? GT2 also only became 'top dog' in the '12 GTE transition when they got a lot wider

@jeracerx Sometimes I get flashes of car curiosity and go searching for a specific kind of racing or car tuning. Speedhunters was an invaluable resource because their articles archived so much of what we know about cars today. This shutdown and the loss of old forums/photos is devastating.

@jeracerx It's criminal how they killed off privateer GT1 attempts using Twin Turbod 996s. Just imagine if they made a factory a 997 GT2 RSR instead of d-ing around with flywheel hybrids. Might've even saved the GT1 class that way since their brand is so strong.
