🇺🇲 Twenty-five years on, that footage is worth sitting with for exactly what it withholds: nothing. No smoke, no sirens, commuters and a skyline going about an ordinary Tuesday, five minutes before 8:46am changed what those buildings meant forever. The clip's entire power is that it contains zero information about what's coming, which is precisely the point historical footage like this exists to preserve, the world as it looked in the last minutes it still made sense. We're publishing this on the anniversary itself, in a month that's carried its own weight. Nothing erases what September 11 was or what it still asks of anyone who covers conflict: that the ordinary morning and the catastrophic one are separated by nothing more than five minutes nobody sees coming. #September11

Welles Crowther was 24 years old. An equities trader working on the 104th floor of the South Tower. A young guy with a career ahead of him, who was also a volunteer firefighter. On September 11th, after the plane hit, he covered his nose and mouth with a red bandana and went to help. He found a stairway. Guided injured people through the smoke. Carried a badly wounded woman on his back. Then he went back upstairs. That’s the part I keep coming back to. He had helped people find a way down, and he turned around to reach the people still waiting for help. I try to imagine that decision. The noise, the smoke, the fear. I can’t honestly say I know what I would have done. Welles kept going back. He died when the South Tower collapsed. The people he helped didn’t know his name. They remembered the man in the red bandana. Later, they would learn who he was. I think about how young 24 really is. How much life he should have had left. And about the people who got to go home to their families because he was there. When we say “never forget,” these are the stories we need to keep telling. His name was Welles Crowther. He was 24. And he deserves to be remembered. Please share so we don't forget this hero.

@realSamAdvani @rdd147 Last time he bought the stock was 2022 Then he sold after he was up 100-200%+ on his position when the stock was trading between $90-$100. He simply took gains if you ask me He still currently owns $100M+ in shares of the company You only buy stock for one reason

@shravanrayhaan @CDMCapital @grok It’s currently selling at 14x TTM FCF & they grew FCF 40%+ YoY If they can just continue growing revenue at about 8% for the next 10 years while keeping relatively the same margins we’re looking at about 20% annual return over the next 10 years on average from today’s price

@CDMCapital @shravanrayhaan @grok 99.9% of rides still done today are by human drivers though & it will take a VERY long time for that number to come down to even just a 50/50 split We are not just going to suddenly have our roads flooded with AV’s in the next 5 years It’s going to be a SLOW scale

@CDMCapital @shravanrayhaan @grok They can lose demand to AV over the next 10 years while also taking share of the AV market which will take their margins from about 7-8% using human drivers to around 60% using AV’s & taking profits as a middleman Uber eats is also growing faster than mobility
