5,000 doctors from 46 countries signed a petition to the World Medical Association to act against discrimination and medical boycotts. Their call comes after the British magazine The Lancet published a call to exclude Israel from the World Medical Association. The petition, which was signed by doctors from Canada, Brazil, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy, and more, states that "medical organizations should remain spaces for scientific and universal cooperation, and not serve as a tool for political exclusion." The doctors added that the Lancet "completely ignores any role Hamas has in destroying the healthcare system in Gaza." Several hostages testified to the fact that Hamas held them in hospitals. Hostage Noa Marciano was murdered by a Hamas doctor at Al-Shifa Hospital. He injected air into her veins. Her family was sent a video of the horrific act of violence. Excluding Israeli doctors, whose research saves countless lives, from global medical institutions will do nothing to help Palestinians. It will only increase the hatred Jews, including Jewish doctors, are facing.

In San Francisco 🇺🇸, a sign was found in bar El Rio, reading "Death to Zionism", equating it to white supremacy. A reminder: Zionism is the belief in the Jewish people having a home in their ancestral homeland. Equating it to any form of supremacy is just the lie that has become the foundation of the Free Palestine movement.

Antizionism is as serious as any older form of anti-Jewish persecution. It has its trail of pogroms and massacres, its pile of corpses—the anti-Jewish riots in Mandatory Palestine in 1920, 1921, 1929, and 1936; the violence that swept across the Middle East in the wake of 1948; the attacks carried out by antizionist militias from Munich to Buenos Aires, from the Second Intifada to Bondi. It has its desecrated and emptied Jewish communities in the Arab world and the Soviet Union. It has its infiltration and recoding of the elite academic, cultural, and political institutions of the West, its pseudoscientific capture of knowledge, and its popular anti-Jewish social movements. What awaits is the catastrophe specific to every form of Jew-hatred. Medieval anti-Judaism culminated in the Spanish Inquisition. Classical antisemitism culminated in the Holocaust. Antizionism, too, will lead to catastrophe until it is taken seriously as what it is, named, and combatted directly.

An eighth-grade Jewish student was strangled by another student while being called a ‘stupid k***,’ according to a civil rights complaint. A new lawsuit brought forth by the ADL alleges that the student was brutally bullied for his Jewishness as the school in Colorado did nothing. Police investigated and slapped the bully with a juvenile court referral for third-degree assault. The school, on the other hand, suggested that the Jewish student being bullied simply change study periods so as not to be in the same room as the bully, and leave class a few minutes early so he doesn't get beaten in the hallways. Because being strangled by a cord as he was called slurs wasn't the only bullying he had to endure. Plenty of students harassed him, physically assaulted him, and even created "Jew tag" to play during gym. They made Nazi salutes and told the boy that "Hitler should have killed all the Jews when he had the chance." The boy who strangled him didn't even get suspended for a full week. A boy spat on him and only got a day of suspension. There is no reforming this. The school staff needs to face consequences for ignoring a boy being brutalized every day just because he's a Jew.

To be an anti-Israel Jew, you must, by default, be uneducated about what Jews are, what Israel means to Jews, and the reality of life on the ground in Israel. Anyone of any background who is genuinely educated in those three areas cannot possibly be anti-Israel. Just calling a spade a spade.

Travelodge has apologized for the "Free Palestine" message that appeared when a Jewish guest arrived at his hotel room in Finsbury Park. 🇬🇧 The hotel chain said that they do not know who posted the message, adding that they will be implementing antisemitism training for staff in response. The Free Palestine slogan is used by plenty who don't think they hate Jews. But when it is directed at a random Jewish tourist, it is unmistakably antisemitic.

Things you are allowed to do if you say it's for Free Palestine: - Attack a woman with a sledgehammer - Call women c*nts - Make fun of how women look - Refuse to believe Jewish survivors' testimony of sexual crimes - Explain that women's rape and murder "doesn't matter" This has nothing to do with helping Palestinians. It has everything to do with finding excuses for the kind of misogyny and antisemitism that should be a thing of the past.
